American won a lawsuit against his parents, who destroyed his porn collection

The parents of 42-year-old David Burking will have to compensate him for the destruction of the collection of pornography. This is reported by the American edition Mlive.

Many men keep different collections at home – beer covers, postage stamps, postcards, car models and even more unexpected items. Of course, none of the owners of such a “treasure” wants to lose their things, which have often been collected over the years. David Werking was also not thrilled when his parents dumped his entire collection of porn, lovingly collected for over 20 years.

The story with David’s collection began in 2016, then after a divorce, loss of work and a number of other troubles, he moved back to live with his parents in Michigan. Having gone through this difficult period in his life, Werking in 2017 decided to start all over again and leave his parental home.

David found a good job, rented a place to live and started packing for the move. While packing the boxes, he did not find his collection of porn, which he started collecting in college when he was a student. The collection of old porn magazines, posters, sex toys, videotapes and DVDs with porn films was impressive – more than one and a half thousand titles in total and occupied 12 boxes!

After a short trial, it turned out that his entire porn collection had been destroyed by his parents. And Berking’s father told him that he had done his son a favor.

Burking filed a lawsuit against the parents in 2019, he estimated the cost of his collection at $ 25,000. The court granted the request for a summary judgment in favor of the man, but has not yet approved the amount of compensation.
