After the recent high-profile scandal that erupted with Pornhub (read more about the scandal in this article), the popular porn service Pornhub is fighting violations on its platform, introducing more and more restrictions.
The service plans to increase the team of moderators, as well as introduce biometric verification of users who upload videos. At the same time, all content will continue to be checked by the moderation team, and the face check will be performed by the Yoti team.
To confirm the identity, the user will need to provide their current photo and identity document. “Yoti will verify the validity of the identity document and compare the submitted document with the submitted photo using secure biometric technology,” Pornhub said in a posting.
The service also noted that moderators will more often check search queries for phrases that violate the service’s use policy. In addition, all moderators will undergo additional thorough training.
